the 2004 Kenya Institute of Management (K.I.M) Company of the Year
Awards (COYA) Gala Night event which was held on 9 th July 2004
at the Safari Park Hotel

- Rift Valley Rally - "DALBIT - Lesiolo" sponsored - [Business
Fair]
We co-sponsored the Dalbit /Lesiolo
Nakuru rally which took place on 17 th July 2004. Flagging off was
done at the Lesiolo Grain Handlers Limited grounds. The rally was
won by Carl Tundo who drives a Dalbit Branded vehicle.
Dalbit has participated in and
co- sponsored two Business Fairs both held at Lesiolo Limited grounds
in Nakuru. The Business Fairs are initiated by Kenya Maize Development
Programme (KMDP) in conjunction with Lesiolo Grain Handlers to facilitate
interaction of all players in the maize value chain.
The fairs were held on 17 th August
2004 where the Guest of Honor was the Assistant Minister for Trade
and Industry, Hon Zaddock Syongoh accompanied by MP Hon. Mwancha
Okioma and on 26 th July 2005 with Hon Mukhisa Kituyi as the Guest
of Honor.

- Rhino Charge
Dalbit has also contributed in
the construction and upkeep of the Aberdare Fence. On 29 th May
2005 we participated in the Rhino charge (an event organized by
Rhino Ark Charitable Trust), by sponsoring Car No 5 one of the competing
vehicles. All proceeds collected during this event went towards
the construction of the fence.
