Dalbit Petroleum Kenya has partnered with St. Anne’s Secondary School in Nairobi in a project aimed at improving its ICT capacity.
In the first phase of the partnership, Dalbit Petroleum Kenya donated 20 computers to the school for their existing computer lab.
A team from Dalbit Petroleum also trained students on basic use of the computers.
The computers were received by the school Principal Dr Beatrice Obiero on behalf of the school.
“This donation will assist more students to access computers as the ratio of students to computers is greatly improved,” said the Principal.
The second phase of the project will entail the construction and equipping of a new computer lab. This project is scheduled for a launch at the beginning of 2016.
“It gives us great honor to know that the investment we are making will shape the career of the young people who go through the school,” said Dalbit Petroleum Group Corporate Affairs Manager, Anthony Kagiri.
